Introducing the Raspberry Pi to Primary Grades 1 to 3

{flike}

Adding another step to innovative learning, GIS is introducing Raspberry Pi to primary grades 1 to 3. Raspberry Pi has attracted millions of school children across the globe and encouraged them to learn programming. Through this credit card-sized computer children are going to learn basic coding and enhance computer programming.

In order to implement this innovative learning, Computer teachers are going to use Raspberry Pi kits while teaching programming. Every such new platform requires financing and thus, Allied Insurance has given full sponsor to purchase the required Raspberry Pi kits. Adding colour to the Children's Day occasion, the school has given this happy news to students of Grade 1 to 3 at a small function held today where the Managing Director of Allied Insurance, Mr. Ahmed Ameel handed over the sponsor to the school. On behalf of the school, Principal Thoha Saleem received the sponsor and exchanged gestures of gratitude.

GIS wishes to thank Allied Insurance for sponsoring the Raspberry Pi kits and at the same time would like to thank the Principal for opening doors to such innovative learnings. The students of grade 1 to 3 are going to experience this new learning during the second term of this year.
