Skipper

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Josh, who had a pet horse named Skipper. Skipper was black in colour and had white spots. One day, they went to a big grassy field. They played on the field together.

After a little while, Josh’s parents told them to come back. So Josh went to his mother but he forgot about Skipper and so did his parents. Before Skipper could get to the car, Josh and his parents took off, leaving Skipper behind. Skipper felt lonely and sad. It started to rain, so Skipper went into the forest to find some shelter. He found a small cave barely big enough for him, so he stayed there that night. When Josh woke up, he remembered that he had left skipper behind. His family rushed towards where he was. When they went there, the forest was on fire. Skipper saw Josh outside of the forest. He rushed towards him and Josh’s mother called the fire fighters.

When the fire fighters came, they extinguished the fire and told them that it was caused due to a failure in the nearby electric wires. Josh was so proud that Skipper survived, and they all went home.
