{flike}

Student Achievement Award Ceremony of 2015 was a huge success. To describe it in one word it was ‘flawless’.

Junior School Ceremony was held on the night of 26th August 2016 and was graced by the President of Human Rights Commission – Ms. Aminath Eenas. The Senior School Ceremony was held the following night and was graced by the Founder and Executive Director of ENDEVOR – the International Center for Environment Development and Operational Research – Maldives, Dr. Abdul Sattar Yoosuf. A total of 547 students received the awards. 274 students from Grades 1-4 and 273 students from Grades 5 -10.

All the awards that the students received were lovingly hand made by the teachers. GIS continues to uphold the slogan ‘Go Green’.  A word of thanks to the MNDF coaches for the complimentary item.  We express our gratitude to the PTA, all the parents, Coordinators, members of the Staff, and the students for all the support, contribution and tireless effort to make both the awarding nights unique and a memorable one.

We received a lot of praises and compliments from parents and guests regarding the decoration, purple colour code and the ease with which the entire ceremony was carried out.
