A fund raising event under the Community Service Programme( CSP) was held in the school by the school staff on 9th of October, 2016. It was held from 1330 hrs until 1600hrs in the school hall.

The event was one activity included in the series of activities carried out to celebrate the World  Teachers’ Day at GIs.  It was an energetic and a deeply satisfying culmination to the series of activities carried out. A total of 28,720.75 Rufiyaa was raised in this event.  The proceeds will be used to donate, in kind,  to the elderly care home in K. Guraidhoo. The school staff are planning to visit the home and handover the donations and also to arrange some activities with the elderly people.

Teachers, management and the admin staff took part in the event. There were stalls selling different kinds of food, game stalls and craft work stalls as well. Some stalls cooked and served food freshly on the spot.  Generally, the students, parents and staff of the school visited the event. However, there were some relatives of students coming in and some takeaways were also done.  It was a very successful event and the school thanks the staff for their enthusiasm.
