CEO Mr. Sheelam Seth and the Vice President of Operations, Ms.Sapna Yadev visit GIS
Two very special members of the GIS family, the CEO of Shrieducare Mr. Sheelam Seth and the Vice President of Operations, Ms.Sapna Yadev visited the school yesterday. They were warmly welcomed by the students, staff and management of the school
Mr Sheelam and Ms.Sapna visited the Maldives on an official visit and met with the Minister of Education, Dr Aishath Ali and the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan.They also made a special call on the High Commissioner of India to the Maldives, HE Mr.Munu Mahawar
In their visit they met with the School Management, the Students' Council and PTA.

GIS students contributed their service to the community in 3 different events
GIS for the Community
In the past 7 days, over 300 GIS students contributed their service to the community in 3 different events.
137 students from GIS took part in Maldivies National University Student Union cleaning event in collaboration with American Centre of Maldives on 21st December 2021. The cleaning was carried in the coastal area behind Salman Mosque. A total of 203.8 kgs of waste was collected from the area.
A number of GIS students participated in the BML WOW Kids Run that was held on 25th December 2021. The funds that were raised from this year's BML WOW Kids was donated to Maldives Association of Persons with Disabilities (MAPD).
GIS partnered with Clean Maldives tree planting program - Go Green Maldives event that was held on 26th December at Hulhumale Phase 2. 157 students along with teachers participated in the event and planted trees.
