Health Screening for students of Grade One - A cooperative effort between Ghiyasuddin International School and MNDF Medicals (Senahiya)

GIS held its annual Health Screening Program for the new batch of Grade one on 17th and 18th February 2015. A total of 106 students underwent the screening, during which doctors from MNDF Medicals took a health history of students from their parents, checked their eyesight and did some of the basic physical examinations related to the  skin, throat and ear.

During this screening the students who required further check-ups and medical attention were identified. In addition, malnourished and overweight students were also identified and their parents were advised by the medical officers.
Data collected from this screening will be sent to the Ministry of Education. Also all the students who did the check-ups will get an individual Health Screening Report Form.
