Mr Richard and Mrs Jackie's visit to GIS

The students,  staff and parents of GIS extend a warm welcome to  Head Teacher of Ashley Primary School, UK, Mr. Richard Dunne and Deputy Head Teacher  Mrs. Jackie Stevens.

Mr. Richard and Mrs Jackie will be in GIS from 29th March to 2nd April, 2015 and  will conduct a workshop on Project Based Learning and Sustainable Education  on 30th March and 31st of March.  Along with GIS teachers, 5 teachers each from Dhaalu Atoll  AEC , Kalaafaanu School and Thajuddin School will also participate in the workshop.

The Mathematics, English Language and Art teachers' classes from grades 1-7 will also be observed by them as part of the professional development of the teachers.

We believe that this visit will be a wonderful learning opportunity for the teachers and GIS will benefit greatly from the expertise of Mr. Richard and Mrs Jackie.
