Visit by Mrs. Jackie Stevens, the Deputy Head of Ashley School, UK

The Deputy Head of Ashley School, UK Mrs. Jackie Stevens visited GIS from 8th to 11th August 2016. During her visit she observed teachers teaching Math and Art and conducted a two hour practical workshop on how Math and Art can be linked to create 'Great Works' of learning.

This practical session gave an insight into applying geometry in learning and link it to harmony of the universe as it is expressed in Mathematics. Mrs. Jackie also conducted a session for the students of the Art Club during which the students were introduced to apply geometry in creating beautiful artwork and at the same time link it to Math.
