Occupation Day for Grade One

As part of enhancing learning, the Grade 1 students were given an opportunity to experience various professions through an environment where the students approach different professionals and gather the information related to their work or jobs.
On 3rd May 2018, this learning environment was set up in the school hall, divided into ten kiosks to show occupations such as painting and designing, dentistry, medical science, photography, police enforcement, aviation, hotel catering, mat weaving, fitness and make-up and hair dressing.
GIS is thankful to the parent community of the school as this learning environment was possible because of their knowledge and dedication to this event. At the end of the occupation day activity, all the parents who contributed to this event were given a token of gratitude as a gesture of appreciation.
