Professional Development Day 2023-2024

GIS held it's first Professional Development Day for the academic year 2023-2024, on 12th October.

While the grades 1 to 3 teachers sharpened their skills in assessment and reporting with DP Shirmeena and Accor Nazeeha, grades 4 to 7 were involved in exploring the implementation of more inclusive practices in the classrooms, with the SSD teachers. Grades 8 to 10 teachers along with all admin staff had a fruitful and engaging session on Mental Health taken by school Counsellor Ms.Irasha. Support staff honed their skills in housekeeping and cleaning with head of HR, Mr.Naeem.

Constant "sharpening of the saw" is essential in every work we do and that's the spirit in the school on PD Day.
