GIS Career Fair

Following the keynote, the GIS Career Fair featured a panel discussion on “Bridging the Gap: Education, Skills, and Future Employment,” with an esteemed group of panellists: Mr Mohamed Shareef, Dr Aly Shameem, and Dr Ali Fawaz Shareef. The discussion was moderated by Grade 10 student Lyle Ibrahim Nazim and our Career Guidance Counsellor, Ms Nafla. The panellists emphasised that the future workforce would value not only knowledge but also the skills students possess. They also spoke about the importance of learning to work in the digital world, focusing on key areas such as cybersecurity and ethics. Finally, the panellists addressed how schools and the entire community can collaborate to create a system that develops students with resilience and the ability to adapt to whatever comes their way.
