WSC Maldives Regional Round
This week, Ghiyasuddin International School hosted the Maldives Regional Round of the World Scholars' Cup 2025. Our scholars were joined by their peers from Ahmadhiyya International School, Billabong High International School, Brightway International School, Finland International School and Villa International High school, as we kicked off with the opening ceremony on the 16th of April.
Over the course of two days, students took part in spirited debates, collaborative writing challenges, and the scholars' bowl. Scholars showcased their unique talents and had the opportunity to compete and make new friends along the way. 
As we culminated with the closing ceremony on Thursday, our own delegation of 14 Junior teams and 12 Senior teams achieved an incredible 136 silver medals, 147 gold medals, and 7 trophies.

We also gratefully acknowledge the students who volunteered and worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the event.
