Quiz Competition organized by the High Commission of India

We are thrilled to share that GIS has proudly secured First Place in the final round of the Quiz Competition organized by the High Commission of India! The event brought together bright minds from GIS and Billabong High International School, with three pairs representing each school.
The quiz explored rich and meaningful themes:
- Gandhiji – Life and Philosophy  
- Bharat Ko Janiye (Know India)  
- India–Maldives Relations  
- Audio-Visual Round featuring National Symbols, Personalities, and Events of India
Our champions, Tia Kyla Hijaz (9B) and Shu'a Ali Shareef (9C), impressed the judges with their depth of knowledge and quick thinking, earning the top spot! Billabong High secured second and third places in a closely contested finale.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the India in Maldives (High Commission of India, Male) for organizing this enriching event that celebrates learning, friendship, and cultural connection.
