Giyasuddin International School has inaugurated “GIS TRAFFIC MONITORS” at a small function held on 9th September 2014. The function was organised and held on the walk-way in front of the school gate early in the morning at 0700 hrs.

It was inaugurated by the Head of Central Operation Command Chief Superintendant of Police Ismail Naveen. Senior officials from Traffic Police, student council members, teachers and the senior management were present at the function. Our Principal Mr. Thoha Saleem and the Chief Superintendant of Police Mr. Ismail Naveen addressed the Traffic Monitors giving them valuable advice and appreciated the initiative the student council members have taken. 

GIS traffic monitors will be controlling the traffic in front of the school with the assistance of the traffic police on school days from 7:15 - 7:30am and from 1:20 - 1:40pm. 

GIS take pride to be the pioneers of the programme. We believe that providing the opportunity for the students to become responsible in maintaining traffic rules of the school zone is one way to help them understand how to control the traffic and become aware of road safety.
