To inculcate the love for our religion, and to strengthen conscience in our students as well as to make them understand what a blessing it is for the Maldives to have Embraced Islam, related activities were conducted in this school on Thursday, 22nd January 2015. 

To begin with, a special assembly was held during which the Chief Guest Dr Ishaq Mohamed Dean of Islamic Institute (Kuliyathul Dhiraasathul Islamiyya) addressed the students and staff of the school .He particularly talked about the three phases Maldivians went through during the conversion of Islam. Also the ‘Prayer Program’ of 2015 was inaugurated by the Chief Guest .In addition, a poster drawing competition was held during the Islam class period, and an information board along with a leaflet was prepared regarding the day.

Furthermore, the school was decorated and a banner was displayed above the gate. Also, the posters prepared by the students were displayed outside their classroom. Thus, we thank the teachers, parents and students for their support and appreciationshown throughout the activities held to mark this day.
