A session on career guidance was conducted for the students of Grade 8, 9 & 10 by  Spark Career Mentors, Bangalore (India), on the 24th of February from 8:15- 10:15pm. The students were accompanied by their parents.

The session was conducted by the Director of the Spark Career Mentors, Mr. Neeraj Khanna. It was an inspiring session and  both students and parents received it well. The topics  covered in the session were:
1) Common mistakes students and parents make while selecting and planning a child's career
2) How to select the right career and avoid the common pitfalls
3) Career discovery and planning.
4) Thought provoking ideas for students to start thinking about what they want in their future.
5) New and upcoming careers
6) Risky careers
At the end of the session students were given the opportunity to ask questions individually and also in groups.
