The first workshop  of  FranklinCovey’s, “The Leader in Me” programme was held from the 29th to 30th of July, 2015 in the school. 25 staff including SMT, HOD’s and secondary teachers participated in the workshop which lasted for 2 full days.
The programme was launched on the 28th of July with an orientation  session of two hours,  for the whole staff of GIS.
The training was conducted by Mr. Ameer Ahamed, the CEO of FranklinCovey  Srilanka & Maldives.
The training sessions  for the rest of the staff will be held within the next two months.
