The very talented kids of Grade One organised a 'Family Special' event for their families with the help of the their teachers and grade coordinator Ms. Shereen.

This special event held on 3rd May 2016 started with a short gathering in the hall where the kids expressed their love and care for their families through songs, words of expressions and dance items. The kids also presented their parents a small token showing their love towards them. The day was exciting and enjoyable for all the families as there were activities such as craftwork, face painting, family snapshot, basket shooting, football and so on. Families enjoyed the family snapshot as they got their picture framed on the spot and they got to take it home. Kids enjoyed painting on their parents' faces and at the same time parents showed love while doing the same on their kids' faces. The event ended with a special tea enjoyed by the kids and their families together.

GIS wishes to thank the teachers of Grade One and the Grade Accor for planning, organising and conducting the event so wonderfully. We also would like to thank all the families who enjoyed the event and mostly importantly a special thank you to all the kids of Grade One for performing so well.
