GIS has a culture of acknowledging student-achievements by honouring them a 'Red-carpet' assembly. These achievements are champion titles they receive by representing the school at various inter-school or national tournaments and competitions.

On Tuesday, 12th Nov. 2019, we held a Red-carpet assembly to celebrate the success we achieved from the MACL Addu City Inter-school Swimming Competition and Inter-school Alkaun Madhaha Competition. In addition to this, we also recognised the achievement brought by Mishka Afrah Hassan from the 1st South Asian U16 Netball Championship.
