GIS for the Community

GIS students donated reusable bags and story books to Noonu Manadhoo council. The bags were made by a group of students in their effort to minimize the use of plastic bags in our daily activities and spread awareness of not using single use plastic. According to Manadhoo council the bags will be used by the people who are assigned by the council to keep the environment clean. The story books will be kept in Manadhoo Community Library where children visit to read books. We hope our donations will be of use to the people of Manadhoo.
