GIS competed in the Under 14 age group in the Inter-school Volley Tournament. Our players played fairly well in all the matches they competed.

Socialisation plays a major role in a child’s life, especially when they are first placed in care of other care takers. To be properly socialised, children must spend large amount of time with their peers, and these skills cannot be appropriately taught by just being in the classroom. With this aim we took our little angels – the Grade Ones on an excursion to the Children’s park on 5^th March 2013. During this Excursion students were given the opportunity to develop their social skills in a more relaxed environment.
