International Day of the Girl child is celebrated on October 11th each year to promote girls' rights and address the challenges they face worldwide. It's a day to raise awareness about gender inequality and advocate for girls' empowerment and education. To mark this day there are many more activities planned to carry out this year and today our Leaders and Little maids joined the IDG resilient walk organised by Maldives Girl Guide Association.

What's a Teachers' Day celebration without our heartbeats for whom we give our time and energy?
Today, we feasted and danced and played together assuring our students that they are so important in our lives. We basked in their love and filled our hearts with their joyful laughter.
Had a very happy Teachers' Day indeed!! 💜💜💜

 

It was yet another memorable day at GIS. Students and parents of grades 6 & 7 came together for a fun activity day full of excitement and joy.
Parents and children playing and laughing together was such a joy to watch!
The display of 'kulhi faaroshi' and 'foni faaroshi' challenge was another highlight of the day with delicious dishes and amazingly creative displays.
