Young Ambassadors' Conference 2023

GIS celebrated UN Day yesterday by holding the Young Ambassadors' Conference. In this simulation of the UN General Assembly, 27 countries were represented with 64 delegates consisting of students from grades 7 and 8 and the secretariate was from grades 9 and 10.
The main agenda of discussion was women empowerment.
Students researched and prepared for the conference on their own guided by the teachers. It was a lot of learning for the students on the art of diplomacy through their debates, networking and coming up with a resolution on their vision to create more equitable communities for women.

Students of GIS travelled to Delhi.

Students of GIS travelled to Delhi on the annual exposure trip, from 14th to 21st October 2023.
A total of 13 students from grades 9 and 10 took part in the trip this year.
Students visited the National Museum, Nehru Planetarium, Taj Mahal and many historical sites. They also took part in the Sports Day of The Shri Ram School and had a great time with the students.
We thank ShriEducare for the excellent arrangements and ensuring a wonderful and educative trip, and the Maldivian Embassy in Delhi for their kind hospitality.
We also thank the students' parents for their trust in the school and for their support and cooperation.
