Donation for Palestine.
GIS, opened a donation box for the school community, from 1st to 9th November, to help the people of Palestine. MVR 79,513 was raised from the donation box.
Today, we held a fundraising event initiated and organised by The Students' Council of the school, with the assistance of PTA and the School Management and raised MVR 100,487
A total of MVR 180,000 was collected, which will be handed over to Red Crescent to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine, with love from the GIS family.
Clean-up event organized by Maldives Red Crescent..
Some students from Ghiyasuddin took part in the coastal Clean-up event organized by Maldives red crescent. According to Red Crescent more than 50 volunteers cleaned Masveringe Park and 1.4 tons of garbage was collected.

On 4th November some students from GIS Grade 3 helped in the Children's Multimedia Library as a community service activity. They donated more than 200 books to the library and participated in the Let’s Read interactive session. They also helped in cleaning and organising books in the library.
