GIS and The Shi Ram School (TSRS) Moulsari started a collaborative project to bring students of both schools together to interact on different topics related to the subjects they are studying.
GIS launches three new initiatives

The GIS Web based Career Guidance , Microsoft Teams and Digital Textbooks were launched in a special ceremony held in the school hall on 13th November, 2017.
Special invitees from other colleges, teachers, parents and students of grades 7 to 9 participated in the event. The chief guest of the ceremony was the Director General of the Ministry of Education, Ms. Fathimath Azza.
LATE ALI NAZIM MEMORIAL AWARD

GIS introduced a new awards system for teachers starting from 2017 and one award that the school decided to give under the Principal’s Choice Awards is Late Ali Nazim Memorial Award. The philosophy behind the award is to recognize people who act as mentors and guides to others. They do hand holding and help people in their work.
