Red-Carpet Assembly
GIS has a culture of acknowledging student-achievements by honouring them a 'Red-carpet' assembly. These achievements are champion titles they receive by representing the school at various inter-school or national tournaments and competitions.
GIS Robotics Competition
GIS Robotics Competition - Inclass Round began on Sunday, 6th Oct. 2019. The competition is conducted in the aim of giving the opportunity for the students to showcase the skills they learn during their Robotics classes.This round is held for Gr. 4 & 5 this week and would be continued for Gr. 6 to 9 in the coming week. Students who reach to a certain level in this round will be competing at the Inter-class Round which will be held on the 19th of this month. The Robotics Competition is organised and conducted by the Computer Science Department under the monitoring of the Head of the Department, Ms. Fathimath Seetha.
GIS Quran Competition

The annual Quran Competition, conducted under two categories: Inter-class and Open category, began on Monday, 7th October 2019 for the students of Gr. 6 to 9. The competition is stretched across two weeks during which all the grades will complete the recitation. The Open category will be held after the Inter-class round is completed. Next week, Gr. 1 to 5 will have their Inter-class round.The competition is organised by the Quran Department under the monitoring of the Head of the Department, Mr. Abdul Rahman.
