The election of PTA Exco for the year 2015 was held on 21st January 2015. Members for the Exco are elected amongst the class representatives of the PTA. During the meeting held for this election, PTA chairperson, Vice chairperson and treasurer of 2014 addressed all the parents to share the work done by the PTA Exco in the year 2014.

Teachers’ Day was celebrated at GIS on the 16^th of October 2014. The teachers were received in the morning by the SMT and the PTA Executive Committee with a bouquet of flowers and to the festive drum beats played by the school band and the members of the Students’ Council.

GIS Art Gallery was held on the 1st and 2nd of October. This is an annual activity of the school where all students of the school participate to show their artistic skills and creativity.
