Today, 1st June 2015 is a memorable day for GIS as we mark the Global Day of Parents for the very first time with a grand event attended by all the parents of the school. Preparations for this event began last week where students prepared their thoughts toward their parents in order to appreciate their work for guiding them to shape their lives and standing by them through thick and thin.

As scheduled on the school activity calendar, the Activity Day for Parents of Grade 5 & 6 was held on Thursday, 21st May 2015.

GIS Netball teams played very well during the Inter-school Netball tournament held from 03rd May to 10th May 2015. Both the Under 12 & 16 team reached the semi-finals after playing beautiful matches.

International Nurses Day (IND) is celebrated around the world on 12 May of each year, to mark the contributions nurses give to society.
