GIS students in the National Top Ten!

It was a special night for the students who sat for the Cambridge O’level Exam 2015. The Top Achievers’ Award Ceremony was held at Dharubaaruge last night. 10 students of GIS were selected in the National Top Ten and 5 students got the High Achiever’s Award.

Minister of Education meets with the World Scholar's Cup team

The Minister of Education, Dr. Aishath Shiham met with the scholars who participated in the World Scholar’s Cup, Global Round. The meeting was held in the Ministry and it was attended by officials from the ministry, the school Principal, Mr. Thoha Saleem, Deputy Principal , Ms. Ahmeema Abdulghafoor, English HOD Ms. Saroj Wilson and the parents of the scholars.
Mr. Richard's Visit to GIS
The Head teacher of Ashley School, UK Mr. Richard Dunne visited GIS from 31st July to 2nd August 2016. During his visit he did lesson observation of the teachers teaching English and Literature to Grades 1 to 7 and shared constructive feedback.
