Thursday 22nd September 2016 was a very special and important day for the entire GIS family as we took a giant stride forward in ICT, adding three new feathers to our already adorned cap.
Exposure trip to Delhi

Each year students of grade 9 are given the opportunity to go on an exposure trip to Delhi, India. This year 13 students, accompanied by Key Activity Coordinator Ms. Muna and Academic Coordinator Ms. Sobira, left to Delhi on the 9th of September. They will return on the 16th of September.
The most amazing event of the year – GIS Student Achievement Award Ceremony

Student Achievement Award Ceremony of 2015 was a huge success. To describe it in one word it was ‘flawless’.
Junior School Ceremony was held on the night of 26th August 2016 and was graced by the President of Human Rights Commission – Ms. Aminath Eenas. The Senior School Ceremony was held the following night and was graced by the Founder and Executive Director of ENDEVOR – the International Center for Environment Development and Operational Research – Maldives, Dr. Abdul Sattar Yoosuf. A total of 547 students received the awards. 274 students from Grades 1-4 and 273 students from Grades 5 -10.
