The very talented kids of Grade One organised a 'Family Special' event for their families with the help of the their teachers and grade coordinator Ms. Shereen.

On 21st April 2016, the little ones of GIS had a new learning experience which was provided to them by some of the parents of Grade one. Parents belonging to different professions such as doctor, nurse, electrician, fireman, policeman, chef, beautician, air-hostess, pilot and so on. To create this learning environment, small kiosks were set up in the hall to which the students of Grade one visited and were given firs-hand information regarding the particular profession set up at the kiosks. Students enjoyed the day very much as they got the chance to dress up as various professionals.

GIS wishes to thank the parents who spent a half day at the school to impart the knowledge they have and giving the opportunity for the students to get practically involved.

The day ended with a small gathering to mark the end of the event where the parents were given a mall token to acknowledge their support in assisting the school to create innovative learning environments.
