Student Exposure Trip to Delhi, India 2015

14 students from Grade 9 went on an exposure trip to Delhi during the second term mid break. The students were accompanied by Deputy Principal Ms. Shirmeena and Literature HOD, Ms. Nishan. Students left Maldives on the 28th of August 2015 and returned on the 5th of September 2015.

Mathematics at Primary level has been a challenge as it encompasses thousands of years of the human journey of working on the earth, of measuring and building and transforming the world. Today, the patterns that children discover evolve into mathematical objects which allow them to reason out every time they come across a new object and at the same time challenges teachers to ‘go beyond the given’ because children need to develop these new abstract skills.
