Winners of Milo Colour Award 2015
Milo Colour Award is a sports award organised by MoE which was first given in the year 2014. Since then, this event is held every year to award school students aged between 8 – 19 yrs. This year, 5 students from GIS got this award from swimming and tennis respectively. GIS extends best wishes and congratulate the students for their achievements.

Four students from GIS taking part in the 1st Asian Nations Cup Under 14 Team Championship held in China
{flike}Four students from GIS have been selected to represent the Under 14 National Chess Team. The team consists of total 5 girls (out of which 3 players are GIS students) and 5 boys (out of which 1 player is from GIS).

Theme for the world teachers’ day by UNESCO: “Valuing Teachers; Improving their status”
Teachers’ Day, 2016 was marked in GIS on the 6th of October in a fiesta of fun, laughter and surprises.
Teachers were welcomed in the morning by the SMT, the Students’ Council and the School PTA Teachers entered the school to the rhythmic sways of students performing a traditional dance item. Each her was presented with a crown by the Students’ Council.
