The First Bus-Ride for the Students with Special Needs

It has been proven that outdoor learning experiences are often remembered for a lifetime because it can be enjoyable, creative, challenging and adventurous and helps children and young people learn by experience and grow with confidence and responsibility. In the same regard, some of our students with Special Needs went on a bus ride on 10th March 2015.

The Commencement of the School Reading Programme ‘GIS READS’

Every year, GIS conducts the reading programme ‘GIS READS’ to generate the love for reading among students and to inculcate the habit of reading in them. This year’s programme began on 12th March 2015 with a variety of reading activities for the students. 

Marking Commonwealth Day 2015

commonwealthday2015As the second Monday of March is marked as Commonwealth Day, GIS has celebrated this day with various activities arranged for Grades 1 – 10.  Students were given opportunity to wear the National dress that represents the countries in Commonwealth.

GIS is a co-educational school catering to children between the ages of 6 and 16 years.
Our preparatory year as an international school began on a good note with a number of promising students and dedicated staff.
